Welcome the Lazy Days of Summer

School’s out and at our house that makes it officially summer.  It’s time to slow down and have some fun.  We have some wonderful canvases that are perfect for those hot summer days.  So pour yourself a tall cool drink, find a comfortable chair and start stitching!    Our first featured design is #57, Cool Cat.  Our glamorous summer kitty is all style in her pearl encrusted sunglasses.  She’s chilling with a tall frosty milkshake, complete with sprinkles and a cherry on top.  Our stitched model was applied to the front of a large, black straw purse.  She’s ready to go wherever the day may take you.  The design image is 6 x 6 inches, on 18 mesh canvas.   Just so you don't think I'm partial to cats only, here's one of our favorites,  # 141, Chill Out.  This design just makes you feel cooler by looking at it.  Our basset hound is really enjoying the cool breeze stirred up by the fan.  With his ears blowing back, he has such a look of pure bliss on his face; it's hard not to fall in love with this one. The design image is 5.5 x 10.5 inches on 18 mesh canvas.    For the gardener we have #150, Summer Lily.  This canvas is a close up look at a beautiful yellow/orange daylily.  Although each bloom last only one day this is their time of year to light up your garden. The design, measuring 11.5 x 11.5 inches is edged with a blue border.  Available in 13 mesh canvas.    Our fourth featured design is #169, Mermaid.   Our underwater diva is enjoying the company of a friendly little fish as she floats to and fro with the rhythm of the sea.  This is a perfect piece to take to the beach or on that cruise, or for just wishing you were there.  The design image is 6.75 x 7 inches on 18 mesh canvas.  A stitch guide from Napa Needlepoint is available for a small fee.   Taking pictures of painted canvases is tough because the lines in the canvas introduce moire into the pictures, As always, please click on the pictures to be shown a better picture
